Cliff Devries is the Diving Coach at Rochester Institute of Technology and the Head Coach of Upstate New York Diving. He has built one of the nation’s strongest competitive diving programs. With decades of coaching experience, Cliff is recognized for developing divers of all levels. He has developed beginners learning foundational skills to elite athletes competing internationally.
Known for his technical expertise, motivational leadership, and innovative training methods, he has helped shape the future of springboard and platform diving in United States. In v2019 he inspired a world wide audience with his annual birthday dive video reaching over 325 million views.
His Upstate New York Diving teams have won the AAU Natl championships 2017, 2017 and 2019. One of his divers, Scott Lazeroff, was recently invited on the Red Bull cliff diving tour.
